As part of its re-investment back into the community, The Ortus Group is delighted to the Desi Bannon Bursaries to the outstanding undergraduates at Corpus Christi College. The bursaries are provided to students who have just completed their A Levels, helping them with their studies as they progress throughout first year of further or higher education. The 2017 recipients were Caoimhghin Mulligan, Eamon Scannell, Conor Gallagher, Anesu Karanda and Shuj Freag.
Seamus O’Prey Commented:
“We are delighted to be able to support Corpus Christi college through the bursaries on offer. The bursaries are offered as part of our giving back to the local community, to highlight future leaders and support these students as they continue their academic journey at further or higher education. Over the years we have been thrilled to hear how the recipients of the bursaries have progressed into a wide range of roles, supporting the local economy and making positive changes.”
The Ortus Charity Initiative from which these rewards come from has been running for over 10 years and has supported a wide range of groups from across the community. Over £400k has been invested back into the community through a range of projects since it started.
