Ortus and Go Forecourts announce the construction of a new Petrol Station at the Twin Spires Complex in West Belfast.
Ortus (West Belfast Enterprise Board) are pleased to announce a major regeneration project at the Twin Spires Complex to assist in the current infrastructure update of the Falls and Shankill area. The redevelopment of the Twin Spires Complex in partnership with Go Forecourts highlights the increase in demand for services in the area.
With construction underway the redevelopment of Twin Spires will consist of convenience store and petrol filling station with new access to the complex created directly from the Falls Road.
The development is expected to bring 25 new jobs to the area as well as boosting the local economy during its construction.
The petrol forecourt will be the only station on the left hand side from Poleglass to and Belfast City Centre taking the Stewartstown – Andersonstown – Fall Road route and is easily accessible from the Westlink, departing at Divis Street plus a 2-minute drive from the Royal Victoria Hospital. Access to the filling station will be via Falls Road with parking on site. The project will also include local landscaping and visual lighting improvements at the complex.
All businesses within the complex will continue with business as usual including, Martin’s Furniture, Beauty Secrets, Twin Spires Dental Surgery and The Shampoo Salon. Further to this, Ortus are delighted to welcome Clonard Credit Union and Kelly & Co. Solicitors who are joining the Twin Spires community with front facing units adjacent to the petrol station build.
“The attraction of this facility will add social and economic value to the local community, increasing the potential for inward investment, footfall for existing tenants and further development in the area. We are pleased to partner with leading companies such Go Forecourts on this project.”
