The West Belfast Social Enterprise Hub is relocating from 3rd May 2016. Previously situation on the Springfield Road, the hub will now be located in the Twin Spires Complex, 155 Northumberland Street.
The move to the new premises enables the Social Enterprise Hub to continue providing uninterrupted services for the next year. The hub provides free training, support and guidance for Social Enterprises, Charities and Community Interest Groups.
The relocation of the hub brings it to the offices of The Ortus Group who also provide a range of complimentary services including business training through the City Business Hub, affordable Commercial Property through Ortus Property Services and Languages Services through Flex.
In its first year, the West Belfast Enterprise Hub has had an ongoing impact on the local community helping:
- 48 Social Enterprises set up in West Belfast
- More than 30 Community Interest Groups establish themselves
Further to this for the over 600 people who have utilised the West Belfast hub facilities, the experienced business advisors have provided 208 mentoring session for Social Enterprises and plus a wide variety of ongoing training and information workshops.
