We are delighted to welcome Deidre and Charlie O’Connor from Cyberia Ireland to the City Business Hub to present a workshop on Cyber Security for your Business. We live in an increasinglynetworked world and protecting these networks is vital to any business. This workshop will make you aware of issues surrounding cybersecurity in the business environment. With over 20 years experience in IT, partnered with a foundation in social sciences, Cyberia is where the technical and human sides of cyber security meet.

Session Overview

This workshop will cover;

• How and why small businesses are at risk.
• What the main threats are to businesses in an understandable context.
• Impacts of Cyber attacks
• The 10 steps to cyber security

The workshop will be highly interactive. There will be an opportunity for attendees to take the ‘Is your Business Cyber-Secure’ an online assessment of the cyber security of their business.
