The Ortus Group are delighted to announce it has chosen Pretty ‘n’ Pink as its annual Charity of the Year
The Ortus Group has announced it has partnered with Pretty ‘n’ Pink in 2018/19 to raise vital funds for the charity.
In 2018 The Ortus Group are celebrating its 30th anniversary and as a result, are holding a number of charity fundraising events. These include its annual charity golf tournament, a dodgeball tournament and charity quiz plus several smaller annual fundraisers.
Pretty ‘n’ Pink was founded in 2006 by Noleen Adair (Rooney) and is the only registered Breast Cancer Charity in Northern Ireland. Since 2006 Pretty ‘n’ Pink has been supporting patients with Breast Cancer and their families across Northern Ireland through the Pretty ‘n’ Pink support fund aiding those undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer. In 2017 the charity provided support to over 350 patients with Breast Cancer and their families.
Ortus CEO, Seamus O’Prey, is pleased to partner with the charity:
“As a social enterprise, Ortus are focussed on regeneration of the local area, providing mentoring and training to businesses at any stage of their cycle and supporting those within our community. Therefore, raising funds for other charities and community groups and giving back is central to our social ethos.
Pretty ‘n’ Pink was a charity put forward by a number of our team as a charity close to their hearts. We believe the charity provides essential support to the local individuals dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis and are delighted to be able to support them over the forthcoming year.”
