The fun day included a raffle, auction, individual and team golf prizes plus outstanding hospitality to create an enjoyable and successful event.
Ortus is delighted to continue to support local communities and charities as part of their strong social ethos. Aside from annual charity events they also provide free business support to local SMEs, educational bursaries and direct donations. Children’s Heartbeat Trust is a local charity who supports families of children with heart disease in Northern Ireland, providing practical and emotional support.
“We are committed to organising annual charity events such as the Golf Day to allow us to raise essential funds for local charities including Children’s Heartbeat Trust. Through wide event promotion we aimed to gain as much support as possible for the event but also increase the awareness of local charity’s whose work is crucial to those they support in our community. We are delighted by the amount raised at this year’s event and wish to thank all those involved in the success of the day. We look forward to continuing to host the Charity Golf Day event in the future.”
“We are extremely grateful to Ortus for choosing us as their charity of choice and raising a fantastic amount of money for our work with local children living with heart disease. Congenital heart disease is the most common birth defect in Northern Ireland with on average, 200 children born per year with one or more conditions. The money raised from Ortus’s Charity Golf Day will go a long way in helping us to provide practical and emotional support to these children and their families. On behalf of the charity, I would like to thank everyone who raised money and donated to such a fantastic day.”
